Finally forund an IWB holster for my 3" GP-100
I picked up a stainless factory DAO 3" GP-100 about a year ago and have been looking for a good IWB holster for it since. I prefer holsters with the attachments fore & aft the actual area holding the gun. It wraps around my body much better and conceals much better. I have talked to several of the custom holster manufacturers I have done business with in years past but none had a 3" gun form. Revolver barrel lengths are usually even numbered and I did not want the barrel to stick out the bottom, or have an extra inch of unused leather either.....yeah I am kinda picky that way. I came across a fellow in one of the forums selling a Tucker Gunleather Texas Heritage IWB holster. It was like new and for a 3" L-Frame Smith & Wesson. It came in today and my Ruger slid right into the holster like it was made specifically for my gun. I am one happy camper as I am very familiar with Mr Tucker's fine holsters...and this one makes #7 for me. Here are a few pictures.

Nice revolver and that holster seems like it will do the trick.
![]() I use a Milt Sparks Summer Special II myself for revolver carry, as I like the reinforced mouthband for ease of re-holstering. Biker

Man I just love stainless Ruger revolvers! I have 3 of them! Looks like a great holster for it!
I may get one for my 3" Ruger Speed Six!

I am kind of partial to them myself! Stainless Redhawks in .41mag. A 7.5" with a 2X Leupold EER Handgun Scope, a 5.5" and a 4" custom. ![]() The GP-100 shown above and a factory DAO SP-101, both in .357mag. ![]()

Very nice combo! Them Rugers (revolvers) are all built like tanks.
Congrats.

Well I have worn the holster now on 3 separate occassions and like my other Texas Heritage IWB's from Tucker, it is incredibly comfortable. One place I frequent is a coffee shop where three of my LEO frends hang out. I purposely went in there to see if they would notice I had a gun on. They did not, and it wasn't until we started talking about holsters that I revealed to them that I was carrying. They were astounded That no one noticed, especially since I was turning, twisting, bending and sitting in their presence. I am very happy with this holster and like my other Tuckers, am sure it will serve me well for many years to come.

Very nice. I have a 3” full lug, spurred hammer GP that I’ve carried a few times. I might have to keep my eyes peeled for a nice IWB for it. Although I think it might weigh more than carrying two Glocks!
