Question on Tuckables with belt hook

I am in the market for holsters for my PM9. Likely, I will get a pocket holster, smart-carry but I also would like to try a IWB tuckable as that is how I dress most days at work and most of the time when out.

Anyway, it looks to me that the j-hooks on the holster will give it away if you tuck your shirt in??????

What am I missing?

I doubt one person out of a thousand will ever notice the clips, if that many. No one except another shooter bothers looking an someone's belt.

Unless you work in an office/cubicle/close-quarters environment with women. It has been my experience that they tend to notice this detailed kind of thing about wardrobe more than men. Nothing sexist... I'm just relaying my experience.

I often had women commenting on how they like a certain belt or how it matches a certain pair of shoes or how one belt buckle is brass while another one is silver or how the pleats of my pants are turned one way as compared to another pair...

It wouldn't take but another second to have one notice a J-Hook Clip.

Not the most professional behavior, but it has happened.

Crossbreed holsters have hooks with the J-part cut off, it is velcro to the inside of the belt. Check out the super-tuck with the optional clips. V-clips.

Yes. I have seen these, too. Tucker Gun Leather also has these. I hope to get a Tucker as my next holster, and the V-Clips will be part of the order. I have two Beltman belts with the Velcro insert.

I worked the floor of a restaurant with black standard clips on my black belt. Never a question.

You didn't specify what color your belt is, but if you were to wear a black belt the clips should be pretty well camoflaged. Have a prepared story made up if anyone questions you. "It's part of a back brace, I have a bad back".
