GlockGuy, if you have the time and do not mind, would you mind doing a review of the classes you have taken with PFC???

Review on www.pfctraining.com
Let's see I'll start from the top ( and let me say im not a great reviewer )
The first classes i took with www.PFCtraining.com was there Protocom classes 100 and 200 .They are classes that show all sorts of ways of dealing with force encounters.Tactical pistol , empty hand fighting, ground fightin, knife tactics. Me being a CCW holder i want to be more informed and skillful in all the areas i can. The way the instrcutors teach it , its a very easy way to understand and also from the mat training in the morning to the " hot range " in the afternoon everyones saftey is always number one thing ! The class i enjoyed most, was CQB conflicts. Its a 2 day class force on force with realistc weapon systems. our class used a H.U.D house the was just vacant , there was a number of tactical senarios that we were run thru from active shooter drills to seacrhing outside in and inside out drills, working as teams and solos. I don't there is any better way for training than force on force like that " it may be paint " but your heart rate goes up once you start a training senario In furture post ill do my best at explaining how much i enjoy training with this group of guys. One thing i do have to say about PFC the instructors there " have been there " ( meaning in real life combat ) there not guys who are buisness savy , there just a bunch of very skilled guys whom are trying to past it on ! Glockguy , ill quote from one of the instructors , from principiles of indoor combat 1)" You are going to get shot " 2) " If you are going to get shot , your adversary better be shot a lot . I just laugh all the time at that thought i would share it . |

I've had a basic defensive firearms class from Personal Security Consutants in West Mifflin (near Pittsburgh):
http://www.anthonyarms.com/training.html Pretty basic stuff, like malfunction drills, firing techniques, reloading, drawing from a holster, shooting at multiple targets. |

The Oregon Firearms Academy in Brownsville, OR (Linn County just north of Eugene) is an excellent school.
Thunder Ranch is now located in eastern Oregon. |
