I've taken Def Handgun, Def Handgun II low light, and the Urban Rifle classes at TR in TX and they were wonderful. Clint is a great teacher and I can remember his classes with great clarity and practice those skills routinely. I'd love to get to TR in OR, but from TX it's a long haul and mucho hassle. Someday when things slow a mite, I'll make the trek to his new location in OR.

Clint, his training staff, Heidi all get my highest recomendation.

Keep in mind that you don't necessarily have to travel half-way across the country to do something like this. Some of the best-known "Big-Name" trainers offer courses all over the place.

Louis Awerbuck, ( like Clint Smith, a former chief rangemaster for Cooper at Gunsite, whom Cooper publicly labeled a "Master Trainer") will be doing one of his three day handgun classes in Lakeland, FL, May 10th through 12th.

And Massad Ayoob (who lives in Florida these days) will be teaching his 40 hour LFI 1 course in Live Oak, FL, December 6th through 9th.

I've done both of these courses in the past, and they were both awesome!

Hello All..

First, I am flattered to be one of the two choices. Particularly when Mr. Smith is the other one!

As noted above, I don't get to the site much, but I am always available through email (vscrob@msn.com) or the VTC website

Whatever your decide, USP, we'd be glad to have you train at VTC before or after a visit up north to TRO.

As for the price, our open enrollment courses are all priced about the same as anyplace else, listed on the website under TRAINING. Our Founding Membership price was $52k, the General Membership price is $68k and you get a pin and a coin too, not just a gun ;).

Seriously, if I can answer any questions, feel free to shoot me an email.

Thanks Again,

RJP
