I've been to the range twice this week and both times. The height of my hits was perfect, but everything was grouped about 4-5in left of the bullseye. My friend went with me last time and he had no problem grouping in the center. I've been standing in the weaver stance when shooting and am right handed and right eye dominant. I know its probally impossible to really tell 100% why this is happening without seeing me shoot, but does anyone have any tips or links that can help me figure this one out? Thanks.

Shooting to the left is too little trigget finger, what part of the finger are you using, and what kind of weapon are you firing?

I'll also throw in ''anticipation flinch'' as a possible.

Do some dry fire drills and watch the muzzle for movement at point of hammer fall.

Taurus PT145 Millpro DA/SA .45acp. I've been using the area right before the first joint of my trigger finger to fire. I've had the gun about two weeks and have put about 750 rounds through it. I'm so used to DAO guns, that it seems hard to find a way to be smooth on the trigger. I thought the pull would get a little less after breaking the gun in, but it seems about the same, it's pretty stiff.

it its super still that is more likely a lot of the problem

Do some dry firing to see if you can get the trigger to lighten up couple thousand dryfires and your finger will be up to snuff

Do I need snap caps for my Make and Model of firearm? Or can I just dry fire away without a problem.

What I have done with revolver, turn away from person shooting, take out half the live rounds, replace with casings, spin and slap shut. When they hit an empty, you can see the anticipation, flinching, jerk, etc.

What I have done with my kids for a semi, had a friend load 12 rounds with bullet, no powder and used primer, as they shot, I took the gun away, loaded a bad round every 3 or 4 rounds. First few rounds will shoot, bad round will chamber but not fire. If ya watch, you can see them doing the flinching, anticipating etc, thing as well.
This may work for ya if you have a friend to help.
