100% NFG! Iggy has been named in fraudulent activities and other not so nice things. You money is FAR better spent at Tridentconcepts, Thunder Ranch, Gunsite or Combat Shooting and Tactics. Seek them out first. All of the aforementioned schools are the real deal where as FS caters to the armchair commando.

So I took 2-3 hrs and searched for anything frontsight and found they had a few hiccups for a couple of years 3-5 yrs ago but could find nothing currently slamming them. As far as training is concerned nothing but good reports. Being slow on some of thier real estate promises they had a few issues, but as said before nothing within the last several yrs even w/that.

Has anyone here had any personal experience w/them.

Not looking to get blasted or stir the pot , just want to know if anyone here has attended, and what was experience like.

One of our local news stations did a story on them a while back actual looking for away to slight " the gun thing " but actually did a decent story on people wanting to be better trained.

What type of info are you looking for? I attended the 4-day defensive handgun course there and I learned a lot.

Thank you for your responses, I live in Ut., and have family in Las Vegas.

Just wanted to get input from folks who had direct experience with Frontsight.

Will be attending a 4 day defensive hand gun course in the near future and wanted more info before taking other members of my family w/me.

He sure sends out enough junk mail trying to get me to buy a super-duper platinum membership for a zillion dollars that will give me my own locker and unlimited classes. Go figure. I'd go to Blackwater or Gunsite for my bucks.

I attended the 4 day defensive handgun class about 2 years ago. Good, solid training.
I wrote an extensive AAR which can be viewed here...http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...port-long.html

Good luck.

There are a number of Outstanding organizatons including "FrontSight", "Thunder Ranch", "Gunsight, also Tom at PTTA, and B/W any of those you can't go wrong. Even a lesser know is Texas Piston Academy outside of Dallas.

Equipment, ammo, food, hotel and travel aside, (you need those no matter what course you attend) it is very economical. A 4 day course is around $100 with a certificate (buy on Ebay or something). Background check $50. I plan to do it again real soon.
