I’ve been on Gabe’s site and will be attending his school in Atlanta this June… From what I can tell, his company is the REAL DEAL. Very impressed to say the least.

If you get closer to Little Rock, I would certainly be interested.

I assure you that Gabe is the "real deal"!

I attended his Intro to Gunfighting and CRG courses this past July and he's a superb instructor and the courses were great.

Only caution is that you should make sure that you are "ready" for CRG before taking it. Personally, I felt it was way above my head, as we don't have any sandpits to shoot while you move around here and no gun club in this area will allow shooting on the move, drawing from the holster, moving in on the targets, etc. Even the police qualification shooting that I did for ~18 years was strictly stationary at stationary targets . . . NOT the real world like Gabe teaches! But with no way to practice it and never having done it before, I must admit that I wasn't ready for that class.

I did Interactive Gunfighting. It's a real eye-opener. The best laid plans of mice and men got to hell in a handbasket when you are being attacked by the target (unless you train that way).

I've been seriously thinking about taking one of Gabe's classes, but I, too, am afraid that it might be way over me. I've done some stuff at the Chapman Academy, shot for years, etc, etc, but as LenS said, ranges won't generally let one move around while shooting. I guess the only experience I've had like that was when working on a ranch for years, we had to shoot a lot of wild dogs. When a pack of them comes tearing along after you, you tend to forget about front sights and a Weaver stance and just shoot the &^%$ out of them as fast as you can -- while running toward the pickup....

It’s my hope that Gabe’s course is over my head, if you will. I want to be challenged, as this is how I learn. I'll give it 100% and walk away more prepared than when it started.
