Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

New Kershaw

Just picked up this assisted opener from wally world. It's a kershaw,Tanto Blur, model #1670tblkst. 3 3/8" blade, 4.5" closed. Cost $55. One of my main reasons for choosing it was that it's made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty! Anyone have one of these?? Keith

Yep, I have one. I like it and use it as my utility knife.

IMO Kershaw's speedsafe knives are the best assisted openers available. Now if they'd just start making some for left handed users I'd be happy.

I've never seen a Kershaw with a reversible clip. Do you know something I don't?

I own a lot of kershaws and they have the option to switch between tip up/tip down carry, but I have never seen a kershaw that allowed you to switch the clip for right/left hand carry.

I love the assisted opening that they use. Kershaws are one of my favorites. I would carry my Blur more - but it rips up the pockets of my pants!
