Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

SOG flash safety

Have any of you ever encountered problems with the safety engaging while clipped to your pocket?

I have pulled it out in daily use many times only to find that the safety has gone from dis-engaged to engaged. Is there a backwoods hillbilly way to fix this issues?

In case you do need them.

SOG Customer Service is excellent. They are a bit slow sometimes but, they will do you a complete rebuild or replace if necessary.

Call them FIRST! & follow their exact shipping instructions and expect your knife to come back to you with a signature required.

I have the Flash II, and I haven't had this problem. I'd take Hagphish's advice and give them a call.
