| Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

Why D2 on the larger blades? My D2 Kershaw Outcast tends to chip when doing chopping chores and a bear to sharpen. D2 seems better suited to smaller razor edge knives. Just curious hoping to learn from a pro

That's probably caused by poor heat treat. I have mine done by Paul Bos, the best there is. I've never heard of the edge of my knives chipping.
ETA: I shouldn't say "poor" heat treat as I'm sure Kershaw does a great job with HT. But it does sound like it is too hard and that is causing the edge chipping and difficulty sharpening.

Want to see more pics? :)

My fingers look much better now with the stitches out - I'll try to take pics tomorrow when I change the bandages. :)

Looks like its time to get back to work. Good to see you are healing well if not pretty. How is the tendon doing?
