Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

that sucks! Do you think it was intentional (pick-pocket) or it accidentally fell out?

That would make me very angry. That's pretty gutsy in a supermarket line.

When I feel a bump, the first thing I do is face the bump direction and reach for my wallet at the same time...in a crowd that's difficult. I'm not sure if I think about my Kershaw being gone though.
If I'm going to be in a large crowd, like a football stadium, my wallet goes into my front pocket.

I keep my wallet in my front pocket 100% of the time for this reason. It also keeps me from screwing up my back from sitting down on a lump and unbalancing my lumbar as a side benefit.

Bummer about the knife, man. That really sucks!

I am sorry to hear about that. They are expensive
and I would be upset about this too.

I was living in Houston, about 3 months ago now I'm in
the county of Norway. (I'm a welder).

Stay safe in Houston. I don't miss the traffic there

Man that sucks! I carry a Spyderco Harpy in Stainless Steel with the serrated blade (nasty looking little bugger, a plastic surgeons nightmare) and would be downright perturbed if someone jacked it off of me.

Hey, look at it this way...a good excuse to buy a new Spyderco knife.

One of several reason I don't think I'll ever carry a knife that costs more than $50.. even though Iv never lost a knife I can see it happening pretty easy.. If my Leek were to suddenly disappear I probably wouldn't notice until I needed it.
