| Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

Question for the Virginia members
Question-Is Mace or pepper spray legal to carry in your state without permits also what is the position regarding carrying it on a college campus. I have my daughter going to school up there and like all fathers I am concerned for her safety. Thanks for any info.

Yep, legal.
Mace & pepper spray are legal to carry in Virginia, no permit required. Note that some colleges & universities have sheep policies. I'm sure the lawyers can add more.

Yes, pepper spray is legal in Va without permit. In regards to campus carry, it's best you or your daughter speak to the campus police on this matter. Each campus may have it's own different set of rules.
