Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

RAT Cutlery H.E.S.T.

I bought this knife about 2 1/2 weeks ago and been carrying it everyday since. Its a great little knife. The handles are removable and also has a groove cut in the inside of the handles. You can store some fishing hooks, line, weights or whatever else you can fit inside.

H.E.S.T. stands for Hostile Environment Survival Tool. As you can see on the end of the handle is a pry bar for small tasks. Also featured on the knife is a bottle opener and wire cutter.

The knife came sharp from the factory and fit nice and snug into the Kydex sheath.

Well-designed, well-built for a lifetime of service. And it just might make that lifetime last longer. Congrats on your choice.

I recently picked up an Izula from RAT Cutlery. I haven't had a chance to paracord wrap the handle but it still feels great in the hands.

You can't go wrong with either of these fine knives from RAT.

Can you show the Izula side by side with the H.E.S.T for a size comparison. I would like a knife the size of the Izula but I realy like the H.E.S.T

Thanks.
