| Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

Kimber Guardian Angel PepperBlaster
Anyone have any feedback on this product. Right now we have Fox pepper spray but someone my wife knows mentioned this one to her.

I have one but have never had to use it. It is nice and flat and has a belt hook and is easy to carry. We have Fox at different places in the house too.

I got one for my wife. The major irritation about it is that there's no way to practice with it without buying two. $100 is a lot for pepper spray.

IMHO you're much better off with a normal OC spray. It's easier to deploy and aim, and it allows for more than 2 individual "shots". The lower price point also encourages supports frequent practice, which is always recommended.
BTW, I'm a fan of Fox Labs too......good choice!

Some of the nurses in the local ER would carry them in their scrubs if they were allowed to carry weapons in the hospital
. It looks more like a cell phone or PDA or calculator or something more than a weapon. I think it carries a lot better than a round cylinder of a traditional spray.A quick Google search and I found the Kimber training unit for $29.99 shipped. |

+1. I carry one and so does my wife. I will carry it into places where it is illegal to carry a handgun. (Provided pepper spray is allowed.) The flat square outline will not create a tell-tale sign that you are carrying pepper spray in your pocket.

This is only my opinion...
![]() I was looking into purchasing this product when it first came on the market...BEFORE Kimber placed their branding on it. The manufacturer had a video demo on their website. Interestingly, the gentleman demo'ing the product fired both pepper shots at a human sized target..and completely missed with one of his two shots. Having to actually "aim" the spray, while being limited to only two shots, caused me to opt for regular and cheaper pepper spray canisters (even though they don't "shoot" as far). Robt. |

Does anyone have any experience discharging the Kimber Guardian? How is the accuracy and range? Does it move to the second shot smoothly? The training unit is not reusable, but has anyone tried it yet?
