Teflon Coated blade
I am shopping for a new knife and have found a model I liked. It comes in a stainless steel or teflon coated stainless blade. Is there a benefit to the teflon coated? Does the teflon coat wear off the blade with a lot of use?

Yes, the teflon wears off over time and use. The main advantage for the coating is the lack of reflection off of the blade steel.
