Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

New Kershaw

I picked up a Kershaw Blur last week. I was looking for a Benchmade Griptillian but Bass Pro was sold out.

KAI USA : Kershaw Product Details

I've never really carried a knife and didn't really think I'd use it that much. Man was I wrong. Not only me, but it seems that everyone around me is looking for a knife as well.

This is a great knife. Very sharp and easy to clean as I have already dropped it in the mud. The assisted opening is great as well. Think I'll pass on the Griptillian.

I like my two Kershaw Leeks (same family as the OP's), and I've purchased several others as gifts to friends.

Very nice knife. My wife bought me one before we got married, it now has sentimental value so I don't carry it. I will have another one, assisted open is great too. Go Kershaw!

I love my Kershaw, I have had a Blur for over a year and I carry a Roughneck in the field.

The Roughneck is dedicated to ONE job, field dressing deer.

When I started carrying a knife last year, I found that out as well. The only tool in higher demand is a leatherman. Congrats on a great knife!
