So if it originally had a pistol grip, you can go to a 14inch barrel for $5 stamp? Or did I read that wrong?

Anybody know if the Shorty will cycle reduced recoil rounds? If so, that would increase the magazine capacity.

Yes they do cycle reduced recoil rounds I use the reduced Buck and Slug BUT neither effect capacity as they are still full length hulls. You referr to the Aquilla Mini Slug me thinks :-) Which will also cycle effectively

and increase capacity by a round or 2 BUT not hit with nearly the authority IMHO.
