Good deal, it's a great present. And the obvious answer is "yes you do". My wife has been asking what I wanted for my birthday next month. While she isn't going to go that high, she'll sometimes contribute to a higher priced item that I've wanted. Last year, just after out "escape" from Northern California, and knowing that I had been thinking about getting a handgun, took me to the gun store and went in half on a new Beretta 92FS. Today, when she came home, found out that she's getting me a Bushmaster to. Of course, she'll contribute to the cost, but at least she's firearms friendly. And she's not upset that I continue to keep my average of a gun every 2 months since then intact! Have a great time shooting it.

Nice Gift. That is the mirror image of the carbine our DPS issues.

Yes, you do. Mine is wonderful, too- she doesn't care how many guns I get or what I do with them. Kind of like her and her shoes.
But she isn't about to buy me one (kind of like me and her shoes), let alone one like that. Not only does yours allow/tolerate your firearms habit, she's educated herself enough on guns to know some of the differences between them and what kind(s) you have/don't have/want. Extreme thankfulness is order here, IMHO. Whatever she wants for her birthday/your anniversary/Christmas (or, better yet, for NO discernible reason at all) is what she gets, pronto, I'm thinking... Congratulations! |

I hear ya. I had been wanting a Springfield M25 Whitefeather for a couple of years, and guess what Mrs. Santa left under the tree for me last year?
I used to wonder if she was paying attention or not. Now I don't.
