Theres no room in the back end of a talon to fit a long gun in. There is no trunk. If I take a long gun somewhere I have to fold down the back seat. Just not practical.

I don't normally. Not legal here in Fla. But take a long gun with me for rideing the roads of our leased property(aka."da club").

It will usually be my Beretta Storm or my L1A1. Loaded mag inserted, empty chamber. No tellin' what you'll see in the road,up 'round the next bend. -------

On Trips

I don't carry one around town. But on trips I put a 12 ga. Mossberg in my trunk. (20" barrel, 8 shell capacity)

No, not since I worked on a ranch many years ago. My primary vehicle, an old Dodge truck, has nothing of value in it (or itself...) so don't want to worry about having anything in it.

I have so much crap in the trunk of my car it's not funny. I don't always carry a long gun but every once in a while, for no particular reason, I will put one of my AR-15s in a zip up nylon rifle case and keep it in the trunk with a couple of hi-cap mags in the side pockets.

Depends on my mood and other factors. When I do carry a long gun it is one of three, Remington 870 Wingmaster 12 guage 20 inch rifle sight barrel, Colt AR-15 SP1 with 6 30rd. magazines, or Beretta CX4 Storm in 9mm to match with my issue 92FS.

Some times

Living on a farm here in middle TN, I usually have a loaded .22 rifle in the trunk, when I still had my old truck, I kept both a .22 rifle and a 12gauge with 00 with it behind the seat. Never can tell when you might come across a varmit that might need shooting. (either 2 legged or 4 legged.)

When I'm on the job, there's probably either an M44 cased behind the drivers seat.

Not loaded, in accordance with state law.... But, generally, on the job, my BUG, and 4 full stripper clips are locked in the glovebox... (there's no trunk in my minivan :( )
