Ak-47 Wasr-10

I just picked up one of these last Sunday. I have only one issues with the rifle. The front site will not move left or right for windage. Has anyone else had this problem? The main issue is the site is set totally on the left side, so everything I shoot goes way right. I found a windage adjuster tool on cheaperthandirt, has anyone used this tool does it work? Thanks in advance.

Yes, those C-Clamp looking tools do work pretty well for adjusting the sights on AK-47 type weapons. It works by "pushing" the sight over using the force of the screw. Ive got one for my AK and SKS, handy little tool.

Works great

Got one. Moves the sight very easily. I would put some oil in the 'hole' on the tool before you use it, because the bar the tool shifts goes into that hole and can be a bit snug.

Get some other stuff too, otherwise the shipping will be more than the tool.

I am working on an article right now about how I swapped out the stocks on my WASR-10 to make it more "tactical."

I got a hold of a rear sight that had both windage and elevation adjustments on it. Much easier than fiddleing around with the front sight.

Hey, Phil (and anyone else interested), Ace Riflestocks ( www.riflestocks.com ) has factory seconds/used stocks at HUGE discounts. I got a stock-with butt pad, adaptor block, and folder bracket, for my WASR, all for $105 delivered.

MrSilenT, I would second soaking it in Marvel Mystery Oil/Kroil, or similar. Everything on mine was darn tight!
