I have a Winchester Defender, and alternate double ought and #4 for the first 6 rounds, then two slugs. #4s on the reload sling. Hopefully, I will be shooting downstairs, and only tearing up the tile in the entry way; at least that is what she who must be obeyed as requested....

I don't want to use anything over #4 shot because of a crowded neighborhood. Could just see what a 12 gauge slug going through a room would do to already strained neighbor relations.
