Rifle cartridge sizes

Does anybody know where I can find a good photo of rifle cartridges lined up together RE: size comparison? I have google'd a lot but have been un able to find a photo showing this, even though I know I have seen them in the past.

Hmmm - yes I too have seen at least one excellent in line pic - like you tho cannot recall where!

Hopefully our esteemed membership will strike gold on this. If we find one I must grab and archive it.

I guess maybe something may be on the ammo manufacturers sites - Speer does a nice bullet poster, which I have on the wall.

Not the one I remember, but that one is not bad.

Thanks!

Are you looking for a photo to hang like a picture, or a tool to compare various rounds?

Somewhere in the mess of data on this computer I have a program that has lots of info and line drawings on scores of rounds that you can line up next to each other and compare the dimensions.

I am leaning on the side of using it as a "tool." I would like to have a picture around as a reference when my mind gets into caliber thoughts.

OK, the file I was thinking of is here:

http://www.stevespages.com/page8b.htm

It is the AMMO GUIDE ver 3.0 and the update file.

However...
I can not get it to run on my XP machine. It ran fine when I was running Windows ME (icky). So can give it a try.

It will give info on the cartridge and you can put the image side by side with other cartridges.

well maybe...
I saw a pic of many rifle bullets in comparison and it was a picture in Cabela's showing a product that was a plaque with about 50 rifle bullets on it for collector purposes
