Nice toys Extreme Velocity and Betty. Is the Beretta 1200FP come from SOG? That looks just like mine and that\'s where mine came from.

Got the Beretta from a guy in California back in \'93 or so. It was new in box and the price was right! He said they were banning them out there. (???)

Thank you, Betty.

I appreciate Betty posting my digital shot. What I do find unusual is the number of members here who all seem to be building flat tops with high quality glass, and in some cases, varmint barrels.

It appears you guys are quite serious about your black rifles.

APachon,

I\'m using a Leupold 3.5x10 VarX-II with turret knobs.

While that might seem a bit mundane for prairie dogs, vision is still very good at distances. And of course, you have to crank the thing down for coyotes.

While it probably will never happen, scopes in this range are the best for \'glassing'and human sized targets. But then, never say never.

BTW, the flat-top is a ***** cat. It also seems to eat everything. I\'m hoping the 52 V-Max bullet over A/A2230 is the \'magic bullet,'pun intended.

This is real close to what my new one will look like:

Will be using an A2 upper receiver and most likely a 10.5\" heavy barrel (instead of the A1 upper and 11.5\" bbl shown in photo). Just waiting for my approval from the BATFE. :)
