My first AK-47

I took out my entire gun collection, which consisted of 3 handguns (2 1911A1s and an XD9), and a Remington 870 Express Magnum. I thought to myself "something is missing." Then it dawned on me that I didn't have a semi-automatic "battle rifle". I had a bit of disposable income, so I decided to go out and find an AK-47 since I've always liked them. I went to 3 different gun shops, and the third one is always a charm. I found a Romanian AK-47 that has never been fired for $415. It came with a pouch, cleaning kit, bayonet, and a sling, which I find to be really cool. I think this bad boy will become my primary SHTF rifle. I've always wanted an AK-47, and now I have one!

Good job - no one should be without one

Scan around a bit and you should find some places selling 30 rounders at very good prices.

I think I pretty much want to keep it as is. I like the basic look better without all the gadgets and gizmos.

Thumbs up

I personally cannot imagine what life would be like without at least one AK47

Congratulations! Great worthwhile addition.

Last match I was in,two AK's came in 1st and 3rd. (I came in 3rd w/ my AK) We beat $1500-$2000 AR's and a $1500 PS90.

Congrats on a very worthwhile purchase. ---------
