Exclamation Help! I've Fallen in LOVE....Again.....

I handled this at the gun show today. It's light it's short enough to make an awesome "truck & travel" piece and it was designed to use M16 30 rd mags and I have tons of those. I'd put an EOtech optic on the top rail.

....yes....I had a hard time putting down the display model at SHOT '06. The front ejection chute is pretty neat looking/functioning.

Yeah, I saw that too, but the problem is that it's a 9mm and it's select fire so I don't quite have the moola or paperwork needed to secure one.

I'm sure someone will make a dedicated suppressor or coupling to attach 5.56mm-dedicated suppressors for it.

I remember seeing something about that particular weapon possibly being adopted by our army. Any truths to this ?

Naaaaaw this weapon is being adopted by a number of nations, but ours isn't one of them. This does look a bit like the space aged OICW the army was testing that had a smart 20mm added onto a 5.56mm rifle but it never took off. I don't remember what OICW stands for. LOL The civvie version retails for $2300 at the show today. I'll bet I could do better than that.
