Deer and hogs would probably be the only thing I hunt. This is a tough choice and it will have to wait for a while. I found a few more handguns I really want. Sig 220 Carry Two-Tone, Rohrbaugh R9s or R380 (whenever those come out), and maybe a Sig 232 Two-Tone.
Oh and to make my choice harder I finally shot and handled an AR that I liked. Main reason was because of the ACE Socom stock and quad rail. Felt like a real rifle and not a toy. So now I've got that on my mind.

Don't know about Texas, but a .223 caliber is not legal for deer in Washington. I would prefer somthing with a little more Knockdown power for hogs as well.
