I know that is an issue, generally I carry with the chamber empty and safety off, if I am in tight brush or on a game trail with fresh paw prints I will then chamber and walk very carefully!! I also make sure I am in front of any group I am with (rare) Not very often I chamber a round, as I really think hard about sticking myself in those situations. Bumping into a grizz 10' from yourself in heavy bush is unpleasent.

Nothing Really Special About My Fav HD Shotty

It's a basically a stock looking indestructible Ithaca Model 37 in 12 but, with the DSPS Police Special barrel & it's been internally tuned so it's very smooth, fast, & slick. Really nothing much out of the ordinary to look at though.

Thanks QK.
I was quite tickled to "fall-into" the Police M12, it's in "minty" condition and had not been shot nor cleaned in a long time (oil had turned to shellac ).

I'm still trying to find out what Police Department may have had it, it has TPD stamped on the left side of the wrist and under the buttplate, it has it's rack number (98) stamped on the right wrist.

Not a great pic, but my Benelli M1S90 w/M3X light as it sits under my bed in a V-Line long gun case.

Here are a couple of mine:

Remington 870 Police Magnum
Mossberg 500 with Aimpoint red dot. Also, has Hogue overmolded stock set on it. The length of pull is slightly shorter making easier to handle for my wife.

Both have Side-saddles on them for 6 extra rounds.
