Strange I thought I replied to this thread by I guess I didn't.

Anywho, here is my new beast. :)

Its a stock 870 express magnum except for the Remington 20" IC barrel with rifle sights and the Choate 3 rnd extention.

(not so great pic but it does have my 1911 in it)




Front sight


Rear sight


In the rear sight pic you can see some kinda gunk that was in the barrel in shipping. It has been very difficult to take off.

(please excuse the mess on the porch. Its cold and I don't want to clean it till spring.) :D

My 590. I cut about 1.5" out of the stock (12.5" LOP), stipled the stock, and added a small slip-on limbsaver recoil pad. The 6 round side-saddle was added the day I bought it.

Later on, I'm gonna have the barrel threaded for screw in chokes and add a surefire 623FA.
