Excellent acquisition! I love the Evil Black Rifles.
I haven't fooled with bipods on my AR-15s, but I did put a Harris bipod on my DPMS AP4 .308. It also now sports a Nikon 4x12 scope. I have an AimPoint M4 on one of my AR-15s, and really like it a lot. I'm still experimenting with a laser mounted on my new SBR. It's one of the great things about the platform, the options just go on and on and on. You can fix one up to fit a particular task, and within 5 minutes have it completely reconfigured for a different job. Enjoy your new AR!

Very nice!!
I had planned on doing the same much later this year, but because of the changing winds in DC, stretched things a bit and got one last December.![]()

The "Sticks" is an interesting technique. A guy I randomly met down at the "Pit" was kind enough to show me what you mentioned - assuming you are speaking of using two 6' poles crossed to create a long bipod. I tried using it on my SKS.... that was funny. I guess the gentleman either didnt know how to actually do it or I just didn't get it because my sights would float all over the place.
Thanks for the reminder!! I'll give it a shot.

Congrats on the AR, SixBravo. I'd recommend lots of ammo and mags - good mags for not a lot of $ can be found at http://www.44mags.com and at http://www.cproductsllc.com/.
