I just shot mine for the first time a few days ago, too. I love it! I had a little competition with a friend who has an AK. Didn't really determine anything - just had fun.

DPMS makes excellent weaponry. I have a DPMS upper in .223, and a DPMS AP4 carbine in .308. I recently posted some pics in this thread.

Our we could contact our representatives and stop this from ever becoming a law??

Two mistakes the anti's made that they won't make again:
Sunset provision
Grandfather clause

But I tracked a picture of it down on the DPMS web site and I'm getting a little anxious to go pick it up........

Better think about stocking up on ammo too....prices have skyrocketed and they'll only get worse. I bought a can of Radway Green from SportsmansG for $159 like 2 months ago and now they're out and CTD has it for $259 or so. I found some Federal Lake City at SG for $148/500 rnds (club price), which isn't TOO bad for Lake City . Point being, guys are stocking up so the supply is drying out......and these AR's like to eat up the bullets.
