New AR on Lay-away....

Thanks to HR 1022, my AR went on lay-away today. It'll be a few months before I can pick it up, but I'm not going to sit still while the government tries to keep me from a right gauranteed in an old document called the Bill of Rights to the Constitution of the United States.

I hope it is as much fun as Mr. Zumbo says they are

Can't wait. I'll hunting some yotes with that puppy this year.

That reminds me to get some more 30-rd magazines for mine (at least a dozen or so, to fill out my CIRAS).

I use my CIRAS for airsoft, so don't look at me weird yet.

Congrats on the AR!! Been trying to figure out where HR 1022 stands in its process. Have y'all heard if it's past the House??

I figured this was going to happen once the shift in power happened.

Here we go again!

Good decision! So, which brand/model did you order?

I too plan to get more 30 round mags for my AK. I'll also try and get a collapsable stock for it too. I want my AK to be as "evil" as possible... lol!

being new to the AR world, I hope I cover everything. It's a DPMS with flash supressor and adjustable stock. It has a much shorter forstock than the typical M16 look-alike, but that fit better in my hands than lome of the larger one's. Caliber is the standard .223

Hope I covered everything.
