Scope question
so far I've been using my AR's for mostly short range shooting. On my new ar im considering mounting a longer distance scope than my eotech. Im looking at putting a leatherwood M-600 scope on the A3 top of my colt. The scope comes with rings and is supposed to fit on it perfectly. The only thing Im worried about is the front sight base getting in my sight picture. Do you think it will set high enough that I won't have to worry about it. I can get risers, but I'd also like to keep the height of my rifle down. Any suggestions?

Depending on the ring height, the front sight base may or may not be a problem. most of the time it is not. Usually just a small blur at the bottom of the scope view ,if anything.
