"Colt Law enforcement AR LE6920"
Please forgive my ignorance, but does this mean it is restricted to Law Enforcement only or is it like the old Ruger Police Carbine that civilians can purchase?
BTW...very nice purchase!

I purchased the same weapon as a celebration for moving out of California. They are not restricted to LE only and can be sold to civilians but were probably intended for LE use originally.

I shoot Wolf ammo in mine a lot (about 1000 rnds so far) and have yet to have one failure. Better ammunition can only be frosting on the cake.

Congrats on a fine purchase. You will like that Eotech. I would recommend a good rail tactical handguard and a vertical grip but it is also a fine weapon stock.

First off, very nice weapon. I am in the market too for an AR and that makes me more antsy about getting one! Congratulations!

Second, Look on your EOTech sight - on the hood for the revision letter.

"E" is the old revision number, if you got an "F" its the new one. Here's an excerpt from where I got this information and the details about E and F Revisions.

"Eotech Has introduced a brighter and sharper reticle to all Eotech holographic weapon sites Also, these changes included an extension of 2 times the battery life at the brighter levels, yielding a total of 200 hrs continuous runtime in the 511 and 551 and 630 hrs continuous in the 512 and 552. If lithium AA batteries there was also the elimination of the one-second delay in the scrolling feature when changing the sight's brightness. These changes are all collectively known as Revision Level F. This has been noted on the outside of the protective hood with the capital letter "F". All models produced since the beginning of Feb of this year is this new Rev level. The previous Rev E level is no longer produced. This revision level applies to all models"

floridaguy911,
Thanks for that info, I will be sure to check it out, that's good info to know.
Thanks again everybody for the nice comments, I can't wait to get out there and shoot it!!!!!
I will be needing to get a set of dies so I can start reloading for it as well.
I can't get over how high the price of ammo is getting. Hopefully it will come down again when our fine young men and women come home from the sand box.

I bought mine 2 months ago and paid $1175.

If you shop around they can be had for around $1200. If you're in a hurry $1300-$1400.
