Yes I do! Use them EXCLUSIVELY for DCJS Training.
(Virginia Dept of Criminal Justice Services)

They are also used EXCLUSIVELY at Black Water where I am an Instructor. and Golden Seal Enterprises where I am the Training Director.

P.S. Scot is one of my Instructors and is 10-8

Really? Not a bad idea...

I think ghost ring sights on a shottie are a good choice.

But I took a deer at 75 yards with my 20 inch cylinder bore mossberg 590 with just a bead sight a few years ago shooting slugs. Nothing wrong with bead sights if that's all you have. Got it in the lungs, it ran about 25 yards. I shot twice rapid fire, not sure if I hit it on first or second shot.

My friend who traveled across the state to hunt with me ended up with a broken firing pin or something on his .270 so being the good friend, I loaned him my .30-06 and I took the shotgun. I hadn't pulled the trigger on that thing in over two years so was a bit surprised I bagged the deer with it. (but not really)

870, synthetic, 18" barrel. You should be able to find this locally all day long too.

I picked up this 870 Tactical at Sportsmans Warehouse for under $500 out the door.

Just a couple options for you. Hope it helps.

Remington had a $30.00 rebate program on, and the 870 HD shottie here was about $267.00 at one of our retail Stores ...good buy for that shotgun,I imagine that rebate would be anywhere though...worth cheking on I think..... my $ .02

I work out of an FBI field office....their issue shotgun, like with most other fed agencies, is the 870.
