I really dont think there is one. They dont drive around patrol cars, so I would think that only the specialized teams would have them... but I'm just making an educated guess on that. I would bet its the tried and true 870, or maybe a 11/87, but again its just a guess.

I just made a phone call... it is in fact the 870. The rest of my post is true too.

Every shotgun I've outfitted for any instructor at Quantico is an 870, and the lead DCJS instructor uses the 870 EXCLUSIVELY.

Part of Quantico is qualifying with a shotgun. That's why I was interested.

Oh yeah, you'll qual. with one for sure. You can pick up a HD model for less than $300. It looks and functions exactly like the higher end models.

I'm looking for a link, but Remington doesnt really promote the shotgun I'm talking about, but it is readily available. Its called 870 express HD. It comes with an 18" bbl, mag ext., and synthetic stock. Its right around 300 retail.

I know the shotty you are talking of.
I recently bought a winchester defender 1300. About the only difference of the two is the winny has an aluminum receiver and the "speed" pump.

Artz: how much did you have to give for the 1300 I have a chance to buy one for 400.00 with both sets of furniture ( plastic & wood in unfired condition. )
