The wood on the upper AK pistol was made by a fellow named Garth Maughan. If you like I can give you his email. That is Black Walnut.

The Type 3 is an Arsenal SA-93 thats been de-banned.

Yes. I have bought a M1 Carbine. A Quality Hardware and Machine Co one but a tad of a mix master with IBM trigger group and Winchester barrel. Nice but not original stock is on it but I am partly correcting that. I am not going to go try and return it to its original factory correct QHMC parts because its debatable if it ever would have been. QHMC often used other parts including Rockola stocks. Besides, I like the representation of several manufacturers all in one Rifle.

So far the Uzi has been sort of reliable. Too early to really tell for certain. Initially, out of the box I had a few (4 in 200 rounds) FTE's but was able to solve that when I discovered that the top cover clearance to the bolt was too tight. So I opened that clearance up a tad and then that fixed that. I have, since, had two loading jams but have not worked through all the mags on it yet to eliminate those couple. So I need to get back on that and see if thats fixed. I am not worried as its a Vector built gun and their customer service is excellent. Good warranty too. But I believe I got it. Just need to prove it out.

CMP is about to go into its second round with the Winchesters next spring. However I would start looking. They are not getting any cheaper and not getting any easier to find. And who wants to take chances?

The deal with CMP is I'm not a US citizen until 2010... and I'm not sure after the next election what we'll be allowed to have... Sad.

Surely if you are legit and hold a green card as a legal permanent resident you should be OK. I aquired most of my collection prior to gaining my citizenship, while I was a green card holder.

yeah...I guess the potential headlines could be bad if they didn't?? "US Government program sells military weapons to aliens living in the US! ...more new at eleven."

Ah great. We cannot (according to recent court ruling) discriminate against illegal aliens but we can against Legal aliens. Gotcha.... don't seem fair.

the other issues with CMP are the affiliations requirements. I am not much of a joiner other than NRA (which I do so reluctantly)...
