Mini 14 stock question

Do any of the forum members have/use a Mini 14 with a Butler Creek folding stock installed? I have the Ranch Rifle with the plastic stock, and have no complaints - it gets the job done controlling my Coyote population, but I have always wanted one, for some unknown reason, and thought it might be a good time to get one before they are again outlawed. Are they any good ??

I have one

I have a butler creek folder on my mini14. Works well and really cuts down on the length. I only wish the gun was a little more accurate than it is but I think it is because the barrel is so thin and heats up so fast.

I think you have time to decide. I doubt they will outlaw them as long as pro-gunners have control of the senate and Bush is in office. HR1022 hasn't gotten too far. I think many of the Dems remembered how they got booted after the Brady Bill went thru. Personally I can't tell you about folding stocks. My Mini has a good ol' fashion wooden stock. I never really messed with the cosmetics of the weapon.

I don't own a mini 14 but I put a Butler Creek folding stock on my 10/22. I like it. If I remember correctly the price was about $89.00 at Sportsmans Warehouse. I'm happy with mine.
