Actually No, it won't take down a deer here in KY.

I don't know what your state laws are, but if I get caught with that baby here I am toast. The hi cap mag is a no no here in my state.

I use my SKS and leave the 30 round mag at home. It's one round at a time for me.

Most either block their mags or buy a low cap mag for hunting. Sweet looking rifle there. Should do the job of deer harvesting easily.
