Any reason I should not buy a Stag Arms AR?
I am just about ready to pull the pin on buying an AR-15.
I am getting the Stag Arms Model 2 unless someone in here can tell me I should not? http://www.stagarms.com/rightrifles.htm Stag-15 with MI ERS Rear Flip Model 2 Pre-Ban I picked that one because it has the rails for Optics that I might be able to afford next year, but has sights to use until I can afford the optics.

Not a reason in the world to avoid Stag Arms. I've got a complete Stag lower on one of my AR varmint rifles & couldn't be more pleased. Also, a back-assward friend just bought a Stag Left Hand M4 clone and it's a fine shooting AR.
The AR world is very opinionated. You still seldom hear a negative comment about Stag Arms (other than High Speed Delta-type Operators don't care for the Deer's Head logo). It's fine-quality equipment.

Go for it! Stag makes a good gun.
Good thinking on the flat top. I just got one myself. Added an Aim Point and I can't be happier. |

Good shooting, great quality.
If they didn't have the deer head they would be one of the most popular AR15s given quality vs cost etc.... I have built several ARs with Stag lowers and I have never had a problem. As a matter of fact I just ordered another lower last week. |

My Stag LH upper seems to work just fine.

I'm also leaning towards a STAG, with RRA (#2 choice) and DPMS (#3)
....can't afford a Colt |

I have been wanting to get one of these myself. Though I am leaning more and more towards the 6.8mm, I never did care much for the 5.56.

Go for it. My local dealer sell tons of them with no returns or problems. He's almost got me talked into spending the 800. myself for one.
