New to Me, Modified 870 Wingmaster...

Ummm...I mean, new to Lima Modified 870 Wingmaster

A buddy of mine from another forum was selling this and I just knew that Lima really, really wanted a shotgun of her very own, so I just couldn't let this one slip by.

It's an older 870 Wingmaster refinished in Norrells Molly Resin, with a Wilson +2 extension, an Ameriglo front night sight, and a Knoxx Spec Ops NRS stock

Sorry about the "Clutter in the pics, were moving to VA next weekend and the place is kind of a catastrophe.

Took it to the rang and ran ten rounds through it, I need to shoot it side by side with my Benelli Nova and see how well the Knoxx stock performs.

The rear sight is missing, so I'm going to have to find an operable rear sight for more accuracy, but at defensive shotgun distance, the front only will do fine at 50 yards and less for slugs.

I don't know what ya paid for it, but it's a perfect HD shotty.

I've been a big proponent of the Knoxx Spec Ops stock for some time having replaced my own 870 folding stock with it about two years ago. There is virtually no shoulder struggle with that stock. It's about like fireing an AR15/.223. with even magnum charged loads.

Nice pick up!!

It was a fair price, I was looking at the newer "tactical" shotguns offered by Remington and when I added on the refinishing and some other extras, like another 18" Smooth bore barrel and some misc. stuff like the original mag spring and cap, I couldn't beat the price.

Nice John!! Lucky Lima.

I guess the gold ribbon bow was 12G too - nice touch

I suspect some generous brownie-points have been won with this

Ummmm that's to be determined, I think Lima will warm up to it....

It's actually all OD's fault, he bought a nice 870 Police model, and that got me thinking of 870 again, I'd been trying to block out the impulses to buy this for MONTHS...

I blame the subliminal messages that keep popping up from this and otehr forums.

Very nice gun. I imagine the Knoxx stock will really help with heavy loads.

That's what I get for not saying, "no.".... A shotgun! lol

I can't say no to guns though.. It's a weakness.. I know.

I haven't gotten to shoot it yet, but I'm sure it will be soon enough. It does fit me rather nicely though. My short arms and that collapsible stock go well together.

Yeah! I have my own shotgun.. Now we need to take his and hers pictures!
