If you carry a pistol grip shotgun for Home defense, do you practice with it? - Page 2

I was looking for a good 12 gage for HD when my wifes grandfather gave me a Mossburg 500 in 20 gage with a pistol grip only.

I have only put a few rounds through it. It tends to aim very low for me. At 10 feet a BG is going to lose everything below his knees.

Do you mean pistol grip as in an M4 style butt stock and pistol grip, or a pistol grip only... also known as a cruiser grip?

EDIT: Ok, it seems you mean a cruiser grip. I've shot one in Iraq for door breaching. Not what I'd want to be in a long firefight with, but across a room it would work. However, a standard butt stock shotgun is far more versatile.
