Rather than just going with a conversion kit. I would prefer a dedicated 22 LR complete upper.

check the below link: along with AR15.com and M4carbine.com

Yes, the RRA along with Colt 9mm AR-15's are both good to go.

Guns without ammo is like cars without fuel, just a piece of steel and/or plastic.
All ammo will continue to rise in price and some ammo like 223/556 is in short supply, figure for the next 10 years with current ops tempo, rebuilding inventories, and the Chinese industrial base expanding - copper !

better to training with 22 LR and 9mm than not training at all due to availability and costs of ammo. Save the good stuff for possible real world need and a few rounds for training after the bulk of training completed with 22 LR and 9mm.

Yes, AR-15 work and so do Lever Guns, but without ammo just a piece of unused machinery.

Reloading may help, if have a qty of reloading supplies (these prices have and will continue to increase and may come to being part of the shortages due to copper and maybe somewhat lead)

Just my 2 cents. We all shoot varying amounts - a little to a lot. We all have different restrictions depending on where we live.

...and thats exactly the point in going with a PCC to compliment a true rifle/carbine.
FWIW, I do have a .22 conversion for the AR's. Its great when doing tactics drills. It is a load of fun in an M16 too.

OK... project is on hold; I sold the PC4. I'm going to buy another though... I just had a chance to turn a 25% profit on it....
