How do you have that set up to get 13 rounds in it?

I'm going to guess that he has a 590 model with the 9 shell magazine tube, and then also has the speed feed stock which holds and additional four shells.

Here's mine. A Remington Model 11 that was new when Bonnie & Clyde were on the rampage. I like smaller buckshot so it is loaded with Winchester Western 12 ga. No. 4 buckshot. It's dead reliable and easy to manage in the stairwell and hallways.

At the bottom of the photo it is seen in the original configuration with its modified barrel. Photo taken after the last duck on closing weekend january of 2007. The gun at the top of the photo is a Savage Model 720 belonging to my brother-in-law. We both used our Browning designed auto loading shotguns for the day.

The red recoil pad is an ancient Jostam pad that was installed by the original owner when he purchased the gun. The pad still has elasticity which is amazing since it's 76 years old.

Mossberg 590 with a tac-star(?) side-saddle, a Surefire 623FA, and a cheap extended safety. Factory stock was cut down to about a 12.5" LOP, and I put a "youth model" slip on recoil pad on it. Loaded with low-recoil federal 00B that gives me an 8" to 10" spread at 25 yards.

But for HD duty I tend to use my AR.

Mossy 590 with a top folder and a sidesaddle
Rem 870 Tactical with a AIT adj stock and sidesaddle
Waiting on my Rem 870 AOW short barrel with (as usual) sidesaddle

Well some of you guys have got some real nice rigs there. I am just excited to have bought my first shotgun this saturday, which I believe qualifies here as well. It's a good condition used Remington 870 Wingmaster. At the same time a bought an 18" barrel w/rifle sights. Loaded up with 4+1 00 Buck I figure it'll make a good HD shotgun for now. I'll be looking into/saving up for a SureFire forend and maybe some sort of Knoxx stock. Anyway, I'm very pleased for now.

Take care all,

nasm

Is the 18" barrel rifled or smoothbore?
