Saiga for me too. Right now she's just stock, with a 5-round mag (top round slug, rest 00) and a spare 10-round of 00 right next to it.

Remington 870 20 gauge w/ 21 in. barrel. Loaded up with 5 rounds of #6 birdshot (which imho is so much easier to control and effect a follow-up shot then with buckshot), with 5 extra #3 buck rounds in an ammo sleeve.

Currently I have a Remmy 870 marine magnum with a Hogue 12" LOP stock, Vang oversized safety, Wilson HI-vis follower, Mesa tactical side saddle aaaand epoxy on tritium XS front sight. Whew!
Doc, I used to have one of those ATI topfolders on my Mossy 590A-1. Please make sure you push the release button before you extend it. My buddy was taking a look at it one day while it was unloaded and forgot to push the button... The stock broke where the release button was and would not stay in the extended or locked down position afterwards. So it went into the trash, and I never did get a new one. I just replaced it with a speedfeed shorty stock, and have been happy ever since. Last edited by dakotasdad; November 19th, 2007 at 11:39 PM.. Reason: Forgot to answer OP question. |

I just purchased my Mossberg Maverick Model 88 18.5" a few weeks ago at the gunshow. All function, no bubba
$180 with 40 shells, a few shots in the field and now its in the closet where she will hopefully stay.
