w great weapon. far better than its sucessors(the M177, M733, M4)it does its, job it is more reliable, and best of all its got more punch.

The .30 carbine round doesn't have the "punch" of the 5.56mm/.223 round used in the M16/M4. About equal to a .357 mag, but there's nothing wrong with that. The M1 Carbine is a great weapon with a wonderful history. I love mine, manufactured by Rock-Ola.
