BAC - SuicideHz looks like he has an MUR upper - I've got a VIS and its not bad to break down. I don't think I'll need to take it apart for anything related to cleaning except on rare occasions or if I get bored. I locks up tight when assembled. Look over on Military Morons and you can find a nice pictorial write-up that shows the break down on it. Basically you flip two levers, take out a couple screws (allen type) and you're done.

Awesome, thanks. VLTOR has me curious with how the VIS might improve accuracy, so whenever I get around to (read: can afford) an SPR I'm strongly considering the VIS.

I love Military Morons. Great folks.

I've had this Bushmaster Varminter for several years and enjoy it a lot. Great on Coyotes and prairie dogs. I've also got several 20 and 30 round loaded magazines setting on top of the vault with my M1A and AR. If they ever come to take them they will have to wait a long time before I run out of ammo. My Bushmaster will group @ .285 of an inch at 100 yards with my handloads. With 75 grain HP Black Hills ammo it will keep under 1 MOA and bucks the wind quite nicely. I sold my Colt SP-1 to fund the purchase of the Bushmaster and have never looked back. The Bushmaster is much more accurate.

+1 for the LWRC, Packer. I still may have to get a piston upper for my shorty AR.

Here's my modest setup: Rock River Carbine, with Eotech and an Aimpoint 3X magnifier on an Aimpoint Twist mount with Laser Filter Unit. Now if I could just find a strike plate for the Magpul 93A2 stock...
