It's about time.

When I saw the AR thread I was hoping someone would start an AK thread.

The only one I have a picture of at the moment is my SAR-3 in 5.56

I absolutly love this little rifle. Since this pic was taken I threw the bakelite mags in the trash where thy belong and bought six steel Weiger mags. She runs like a dream and without the usual muzzle jump associated with most AKs. More accurate than my mini-14 (of course that ain't saying a lot), and my 7.62x39 AKs, which ain't bad for what they are.

I also have a Norinco MAK 90 and a new WASR-hi cap. I'll take some pics and post them later. You'll notice mine are all stock stuff. I really ain't into tacticool and if I was I couldn't afford it right now anyway, but I do plan to put a Red Dot of some sort on this rifle in the future.

Duisburg. I don't have a pic with the stock folded but will try and get one for you tomorrow. I am running Russian Kobra optics the EKP-8-02 that you can find here
They are very nice and clear, with long battery life and it hooks up to the rail on the side of the AK perfect, you can also get the rail at the link above so you can put it on any AK, I like the Kobra better then the EOTECH I have on my Colt AR15, I love my AK, it See's much more time in the field then the AR. hehehe

Here's my trunk gun (hopefully truck gun soon)

WASR, came with Tapco collapsable stock and a plain forend, I swapped out the plain forend for a 2-piece set from Suarez International, Tapco folding vertical grip, Streamlight TLR on the side
Blackhawk sling (not shown)
getting a new American made trigger group soon, also looking for the right red dot

If loose gun laws are good for criminals, why do criminals support gun control?

Just in case the zombies attack.

Ok I'm gonna bump this thread back to the top by posting a new pic. This is my humble AK collection. L to R: WASR, SAR-3, MAK-90.

just realized, I forgot to list the SAW pistol grip on my AK, definitely better than the stock one!
