I've had the 556 for about 2 months, have put about 750 rds thru it, mixed wolf, silver bear, barnual, brown bear, hp, fmj, sp etc, used pmags & hk mags. It has been flawless. A bit front heavy yes, but I really really enjoy the look of it and shooting it! So far no aggravation just lots of fun!

I would look at what the competitors in the 3-gun arena are using and go with the percentages; I am sure both weapons are fine examples' of Eugene Stoner's genius, and either would serve well.

DPMS uses a very nice all black finish on their guns and offer some very nice lightweight rifles if that matters to you. I got their Lite-16 and am very happy with it. The Sig is a semi auto machine gun IMHO way too heavy. Good luck

I have a older Bushy A2 and a Sweet 16 DPMS, both are fine rifles, buy with confidence.

Of the two, I would have to say BM. Make sure you get the gas key and castle nut staked (as they do not do a very good job at the factory).
