Beautiful. I had a model 37 featherlight police model several years ago. Made in 1976 I believe. Alot of gunsmiths won't work on them any more because of the 'slam-fire' capability and safety/liability concerns. After about six months worth of trials and tribulations---including having been sent to Wilson's combat in the early 90's, and Ithaca the company themselves------I finally found someone who would parkerize mine, and renew all the springs as well as front site post. Just an FYI, and this fellow does some great work in the Ithacas as he worked for the company and knows his stuff.
