Anybody Have a Mossberg 590 A1?

Any body have a Mossberg 590 A1? I just ordered one, it's my first shotgun, hopefully I made a good choice. If you have one let me know what you think? any good accessories?

FC,

I've been researching same for months toward a pump gun in specific and am this close to pulling the trigger.
In fact last night I hit the ATF website to order requisite forms toward securing Class 3 approval against ordering/purchasing a 14" barrel 590A1 Compact.

I like Mossberg (over Remington) largely because of it's tang mounted safety.
If you run a search here there have been multiple threads referencing the 590A1 by owners. I did so and read them all.

Yep...I bought mine new a year ago. I've had the barrel ported, forcing cone honed, trigger work, metal safety button installed and Knoxx Spec-Ops stock put on her and a picatinny rail installed instead of the rear ghost sight. I'm trying to decide whether to put an Eotech on her or a reflex sight.

This is ultimately going to be the house gun...I did the Knoxx and porting so my wife wouldn't have much difficulty shooting 00 buck. It's a real soft shooter....I'm extremely pleased! Mossy makes a very robust product...and with a few tweaks...you'll have an amazing shotty.

P.S.,

I got the metal safety switch from Brownells...I ordered the Knoxx right off of their web-site. The gunsmith work I had done by a local smith who is well known for shotgun work....all the upgrades have made a huge improvement IMHO.
